Reiss Cordrey is the Chairman of Maidstone & Malling Young Conservatives, where he leads efforts to encourage youth engagement and active participation in local campaigning. He focuses on growing membership, fostering leadership skills, and strengthening connections between young people and the wider Conservative Association.
Alongside his political role, Reiss regularly volunteers in the community, spending Saturday nights providing first aid and welfare support with a local charity in Maidstone’s night-time economy.
He has gained valuable on-the-ground experience as a Conservative candidate, standing in the High Street ward in May 2023 and the Barming Heath & Teston ward in May 2024. He also played a significant role in the 2024 General Election, supporting local MP Helen Grant OBE.
As Lead Coordinator for True Blue Patrons, Reiss helps deliver prestigious networking events, such as the March 2025 supper with Rt Hon Esther McVey and the June 2025 dinner with Rt Hon James Cleverly MP, making political engagement more accessible to young Conservatives, a value central to his YC mission.
Reiss is committed to expanding youth participation, organising mentorship and campaign training, and building bridges between students, young people, and the Association. He strongly encourages young people across Maidstone to get involved and reach out via Instagram @MaidstoneAndMallingYoungCons
