We were thrilled to welcome Johnny Mercer MP and Minister for Veterans to an online zoom event on October 14th, with local activists. He spoke movingly about his motivation for becoming a politician. We were all inspired to hear of his campaign to become an MP, winning a Labour seat in 2015 and increasing his majority to over 12,000 at the last election. A fantastic evening was had by all and we were very grateful to Johnny for his time.
