Maidstone and Malling Conservative Association has announced its upcoming calendar of events for the early Autumn, designed to give members the chance to hear from and question leading thinkers and figures from the Conservative Party and the political right. This autumn's events see a Shadow Cabinet member and a former Chairman of the Conservative Party's governing 1922 Committee head to the constituency to speak to members.
Robert Jenrick, Shadow Justice Secretary, MP for Newark in Nottinghamshire and former Conservative Party leadership candidate will join us in September at the Association's annual dinner event - an evening that promises to be full of insight on how we reconnect with conservative voters and how we continue to rebuilt our party.
In October, Sir Graham Brady, former MP for Altrincham in Greater Manchester and previously Chairman of the 1922 Committee will join us for dinner too. Following the publication of his book, Kingmaker, Sir Graham will lift the lid on the process and intrigue that sits behind Conservative Party leadership contests and his experiences as an MP over 27 years.
